At the very heart of Church life is prayer and worship.  Together we value the opportunity to discover more about God through silence, simplicity, music, prayer, and through coming together in the Eucharist (Holy Communion). We especially value the diversity found in both the poetic beauty of the traditional 1662 Book of Common Prayer and the more contemporary and modern forms of worship found in the Church of England’s Common Worship service books.

The regular pattern of church services can be found here.https://henfield.org/sundays/ Occasionally there are some seasonal changes, to check please ring the Parish/Benefice Office on 01273 495532. Further details are sometimes also available via the news feed/twitter feed, Facebook Page, or on the A Church Near You site.

Accessibility.

Worshippers and visitors with disabilities are most welcome at all three churches. If you require any assistance please ask a member of our welcome team on arrival. For wheelchair users or those with other disabilities an accessible toilet facility is available in the south aisle of St. Peter’s Henfield, and through the door opposite the south entrance of St. Peter’s Woodmancote. For those who are hard of hearing a loop system is also available in both churches. St.Giles, Shermanbury is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible toilet facility in the seperate building in the churchyard. At present there is no hearing loop system in St. Giles’.

If you are unable to stand, or move forward to receive the Sacrament, please tell one of the Welcome team and they will make sure the Clergy bring the Sacrament to you during Communion.
