For those who enjoy the sung service of Choral Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer come to St.Peter’s, Woodmancote on Sunday 30th April. Tea and cake will be available from 4.30pm and the service. with music led by the choir starts at 5.30pm.
There will be many events in the villages of our parish over the coronation weekend, and we are looking forward to join in with what is a historic few days.
There will also be 4 special events in our churches as follows: –
On Saturday 6th May the Coronation of the King and Queen Consort will be broadcast live from St Peter’s Church, Henfield from 10.30am. All are welcome.
On Sunday 7th May the following Church services will be held to celebrate the Coronation.
9.45am – A Choral Service of Holy Communion celebrating the Coronation at St. Peter’s Henfield
11.15am – A Special Commemorative Service at St Giles’, Shermanbury.
4pm – A Special Commemorative Songs of Praise Service at St Peter’s, Woodmancote.
