A hand of Friendship for Ukrainian Families and their hosts in Henfield.
Henfield Churches, Henfield Parish Council, Henfield Community Partnership, BN5 magazine and Henfield Medical Centre, and St. Peter’s School, alongside other organisations, businesses, groups and charities have come together to offer a welcoming hand of friendship to the families who will be joining us in the village from Ukraine. The group offers friendship and support to host families and new Ukrainian residents, and also signposts people towards other support, such as medical and school contacts and practical help, including translation services, and lots more! We’ll be reaching out to the wider Henfield community for specific needs over the coming months, such as donations of goods for people setting up their homes, or perhaps offers of employment via our ‘Henfield for Ukraine’ Facebook page.
