Previously at Little Fishes we had been hearing the story of Moses and it had been a bit of a roller coaster ride. Firstly, we had found him as a baby in a basket in the bulrushes; then he had been confronted by a burning bush and when the people of a God had finally escaped from bad old Pharaoh they had been trapped by the Red Sea and had to rescued by God rolling back the waters. After a break and some stories of Jesus we were back, last Friday, with Moses and the people of God in the desert.

As the Little Fishes were gathering we played Kim's game and thanked God for the things that we have

Then it was time to share our story. We heard that even though the people of God had been rescued from bad old Pharaoh they were STILL moaning and groaning that they didn’t have enough to eat and that God sent sweet tasting flakes of manna. (We shared a bowl of cornflakes and honey to help us get in the mood of the story)

Little Fishes is our ‘mums and tots’ group which meets every Friday in church from 2pm. There is no charge and all babies, toddlers and pre-school children are very welcome to come along with their carers.

What will Moses be getting up to next week? Why not join us next Friday to find out?
