Robin will be at St. Peter’s, Henfield for the first film presentation by The Keys, the arts event group, at 7:30pm on Thursday 21 March. Tickets are £6 (£5 concessions), and available from church and from Henfield Furnishings;  further details on TheKeys@Henfield.Org or 01273 495532.

After the showing of the film, Robin will be in discussion with Alastair Cutting about researching John Newton’s story, the developing of Robin’s stage show Amazing Grace with his wife Christine, and the making of the films by Julian Dinsell, and Michael Apted.

Robin has performed his live stage show on John Newton for many years, perhaps never more poignantly than in the church Newton had been vicar of for 28 years, St. Mary, Woolnoth, London, on 21 December 2007, the 200th anniversary of Newton’s death. That performance was attended by Alastair Cutting, who wrote about his reflections recorded in an old post.
