The three parishes of this united benefice (a group of parishes who share the same vicar)  are:

The three churches that make up this benefice have been at the heart of their local communities for centuries, there has been a church on the site of St Peter’s Henfield since 770AD and both    St Giles’, Shermanbury and St Peter’s, Woodmancote Churches are mentioned in the Domesday Book. Although they share the same Vicar/Rector and have worked together since 1977 each church has its own history, architecture,  and style of worship, and we value the diversity that this  difference brings to our life together. As church communities we don’t believe we are perfect, but we do believe that we are on a journey of discovery together. More than anything we believe that we are “learning, living and sharing God’s love,” as best we can.
