Spotlight on the Farewell at Shermanbury

The Rev’d Alastair Cutting, Rector of Shermanbury in the Henfield Benefice since 2010, also took his last service in Shermanbury on Passion Sunday 17 March 2013: Holy Communion according to the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.

The service started by remembering some of the words from the first chapter of Genesis, culminating with God’s command in creation “Let there be light!”, at which Alastair formally switched on the new lighting array at St. Giles’.
