Prayer & Praise @ St. Peter’s, Henfield

PraisePentecost is over for this year, but God is constantly filling his church and his people with his Holy Spirit all year round. Come along at 6.00 for 6.30pm on Sunday, 2nd June to celebrate and pray for God’s gift of the Spirit, and to discuss its meaning for our lives.

 

Church In Action: Caring for the Poor and Oppressed

Last week, we were privileged to have a special preview screening of the major Christian film release, “58:”, followed by a question and answer session with the film’s producer and director, Tony Neeves.

We will be following this up, this coming Thursday evening, with a study meeting to explore the biblical mandate to care for the poor and oppressed.

If you are interested in coming the to this meeting, but missed the film showing, we can lend you a copy of the DVD to view at home.

Refreshments provided. All are welcome to attend.

A special viewing in the presence of the Director-Producer

58: is the Christian movie event of the year: an inspiring and beautifully filmed account of the Church’s fight against extreme poverty.

You are invited to meet producer/director Tony Neeves at a special showing of the film on Thursday, 3rd May at 7.30pm in Church House, Church Lane, Henfield.

Then on 10th May there will be a second session which will look at Biblical mandate to care for the poor, and explore ways or eradicating extreme poverty.
