A tree that stretched dangerously across Church Lane in Henfield, from the gatepost of the Vicarage towards the churchyard, was taken down this week. The old sycamore, a section dead at the top, and the main trunk hollow and rotten at the bottom, was rather a safety risk, and so was taken down by Greenscape [...]
We regularly have a Shared Lunch at St. Peter’s. At today’s, Teddy Nutbrown-Hughes, one of our young congregation members was taking some photos, and he has passed them on for us to see.
After 3½ years with us at Henfield, our curate Angela Martin is to take up her new post.

Do come and join us in church at 4pm this Sunday for our annual Baptism anniversary service – especially if you had a baptism in the family this year (or especially if you like cake!).
We will start with a short service and some nice songs in church, and then pop across to Church House [...]
Services this Sunday will be 9am Holy Communion (CW) and 10.30am Xplore with Holy Communion. Coffee and cake will be served between the services. Then in the evening there will be Evensong at 6.30pm. A warm welcome awaits everyone.
Last week the Little Fishes made this collage based on Jesus saying 'I am the vine.' Join us this Friday for stories, songs, playtime and refreshments from 2pm for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their carers.
The Monthly coffee morning will be held at St Peter's this Thursday, 17th May at 10.30am. Fresh coffee, homemade cakes and a warm welcome are all available.
